Son of Dracula, 1943

Original Vintage Movie Poster Window Card (14x22")
Starring Lon Chaney

Here is a super rare classic Horror original window card film poster. The artwork and graphics are spectacular.

A first for us and based on our research only two have ever surfaced in the last 25 years.

Very good condition. Had restoration to the left hand border area that had a small chop and some creases. NO Backing. And unlike most window cards the top blank area for theater use has Not been trimmed off.  Looks Amazing!

Son of Dracula (Universal, 1943).Window Card (14" X 22").
This Universal Horror thriller was a collaboration between director Robert Siodmak and his screenwriter-brother, Curt. In this version of the infamous vampire, Lon Chaney, Jr. plays the mysterious Count Alucard (Dracula spelled backwards), who comes to the American south in search of new "victims."

Lon Chaney Jr. stars as the mysterious Count Alucard, a Budapest nobleman who moves to the American South and takes a bride, a lovely student of the occult, Katherine (Louise Allbritton). When friends notice that Katherine is acting strangely, they discover to their horror that Alucard is actually the son of the infamous vampire, Count Dracula. The third installment in Universal's Dracula franchise, this is the first film to show the vampire transforming into a bat. This sensational window card features Chaney looking sinister, lurching out towards Allbritton.

Starring Lon Chaney Jr., Robert Paige, Louise Allbritton, Evelyn Ankers, Frank Craven, J. Edward Bromberg, and Samuel S. Hinds. Directed by Robert Siodmak.

Side note: Its interesting that Universal paired up Lon Chaney with Evelyn Ankers, again after rumors they despised each other while making The Wolf Man.

Note: Cvtreasures stamp Not on original
