Very rare original vintage "Rawhide" lobby card. Very good condition with just minor border tears, not affecting image area. We were fortunate enough to acquire all eight cards of the set. Starring Smith Ballew, Lou Gehrig, Evalyn Knapp, Arthur Loft, and Si Jenks. Directed by Ray Taylor. An unrestored title card with good color and an overall very presentable appearance.

In his only full-length feature film performance, Lou Gehrig (playing himself) goes to his sister's ranch in Montana after his baseball career is over. He uncovers an extortion plot, and with the help of Smith Ballew, foils the plans. There is a great bar-room scene in the film where Gehrig launches billiard balls at the bad guys. Gehrig was lauded for his performance, and many at the time thought he had a shot at an acting career. A must for any Lou Gehrig, New York Yankees Baseball or western fan.
