Rare vintage one sheet from this 1949 Sci-Fi Giant Ape classic!  Very good condition.  Has some fold spliltting and corresponding tape repairs on reverse.  Some tape has aged and turned brown.   Would look terrific linen backed!  

Mighty Joe Young (RKO, 1949). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style B. With this film, Merian Cooper, the director as well as writer and producer of the original King Kong, reunited many from his old team in an attempt to duplicate the runaway success of his earlier gorilla feature. Willis O'Brian, the original stop-motion animator, was pulled in to bring the character of Mighty Joe Young to life. He brought with him a young assistant, Ray Harryhausen, who of course, went on to animating his own impressive series of films. This "B" style shows Joe holding up co-star Terry Moore from the nightclub sequence.
