A beautiful rendering of the ghostly sea vessel of Dutch folklore never able to stop sailing, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines employed the graceful artwork of Joop van Heusden's interpretation of the ship in order to create a juxtaposition between it and their airplanes, aimed at evoking their speedy transcontinental flights. In elegant cursive writing, the poster boasts that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is "maintaining a fine tradition," in keeping pace with the legendary Flying Dutchman.
In overall great condition, this poster does contain some light wear, such as tiny corner bends, faint edge and corner wear, small tears along the borders, or subtle tape stain bleedthrough along the right border from masking tape on the verso bracing a tear. Additionally, there is a tiny strip of archival tape on the verso bracing a tear along the bottom border.  Beautiful Unfaded bright colors!
