We recently acquired Three ORIGINAL Historical 19th Century programs for Buffalo Bill's Wild West.   One from the 1884 Season and Two for the first and second halves of the 1893 season.

This is the Season Part One (First half of season 1893).   The 1893 Season Part 2 is also offered here on CVtreasures and can be seen below under, "Other Rare Vintage Treasures You Might Like".

Note:  We have another one of this 1893 Wild Bill ShHow program.

Note:  These are some of the earliest surviving Buffalo Bill Wild West Show programs that we have ever acquired since we started collecting historical artifacts in 1980.   Most that appear on the market are from the early 20th century.

If you appreciate historical artifacts and in particular the Wild West of the mid and late 19th century, here is a most exciting piece  of history.  With spectacular color artwork on front and back cover.   Filled with 64 Pages of amazing historical illustrations and fascinating stories of the Wild West era

Rare historical program for Buffalo Bill's Wild West for the first half of the 1893 season. Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World / Historical Sketches. Chicago, IL: The Blakely Printing Company, 1893. 8vo, chromolithographed paper wraps featuring Cody and an attack on the Overland Stage, and on the back cover "Sioux on the War-Path; Stronghold in the Bad Lands of the Hostile Indians, Chiefs 'Short Bull' and 'Kicking Bear,'".  Annie Oakley and Johnny Baker were featured sharpshooters.

64 numbered pages.. This program represents the first half of the first season the Wild West became the Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders. The show spent the entire year near the grounds of the Columbian Exhibition in Chicago, playing 302 performances.

Condition:   Front cover has tape repair and wear to edges, contents good.     The cover, other than the tape and expectecd wear is in quite nice condition considering it is 140+ Years old!    And the inside is even more impressive, with just the antique sepia patina you would expect from a 140+ year old historical document.
